Overview: The Bradford Exchange is global direct to consumer product marketing organization. We are hiring an Associate Studio Coordinator!
The Associate Studio Coordinator is responsible for providing comprehensive support in the day-to-day operations of the photography studio, ensuring efficient communication with various departments across the organization, scheduling and prioritizing product shoots, and the accuracy and maintenance the studio database and records. This position will play a key role in managing the project database and reporting by taking ownership of accuracy of the information. This position will also support product shoots with a variety of projects including set up shots of products, retouching, and may assist with some photography, and build sets if needed. Responsibilities: Studio Coordination:

  • Responsible for the coordination of the overall studio workflow
  • Maintains the project database, archiving and record keeping for the studio
  • Serves as the core contact for projects and communicate updates regularly to ensure key milestones are accomplished in order to meet deadlines expectations
  • Replies to routine inquiries; expedites flow of work; initiates follow-ups when necessary
  • Manages flow of multiple projects concurrently, taking ownership of all deadlines, and communicating priorities to the design team
  • Maintains the organization of studio equipment
Photography:
  • Assist photographer with product shots and light retouching
  • May serve as the photographer for shoots
Qualifications: Education, Licensing, Certification, and Experience
  • BA/BS degree Photography
  • 2-4 years experience
  • Strong studio/product photography assistant experience

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Digital photography experience
  • Ability to work under pressure, balancing production needs with aesthetic needs, while keeping close attention to detail.
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Excel and general database skills
  • Experience with prepping, lighting, set building, styling
