Responsibilities:
- Analyze financial data and define relevant information; interpret data for the purpose of determining past financial performance and/or to project prospective results.
- Support the overall operational client service experience in partnership with client service, portfolio management, and product management as part of a scalable client service model across the Global Real Assets platform.
- In conjunction with the Portfolio Management and Client Service team, ensure relevant client mandate provisions are documented suitably, and are in-line with the Company’s capabilities in order to meet client expectations and the Company's documented obligations.
- Support new business by completing pricing runs and analysis in conjunction with Portfolio Management and Acquisitions staff.
- Work harmoniously across functions to streamline processes. Identify and develop solutions for more effective methods of gathering, sorting, and accessing data.
- Utilize an understanding of the business to run, and proactively develop, reports and models for forecasting, trending, and results analysis. Participate in the peer review of report and model outputs.
- Support client reporting needs including client performance. Perform client analysis and trend reporting and provide updates to relevant internal stakeholders as needed.
- Interpret financial transactions and events for users; may also offer recommendations to those making economic or business decisions.
- Adhere to the company's framework of internal controls, including compliance and regulatory policies and procedures.
- P client needs to relevant internal parties, may also assist in responding to client inquiries directly.
- Provide support and actively participate in RFP requests, DDQ's, track record analysis, consultant questionnaires and related due diligence requests.
- Determine appropriate methodology to prepare information for use by others within the Company and by clients.
- Participate as needed in accounting processes to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
Required Qualifications:
Associate Director
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or appropriate equal work experience.
- Five years of experience in quantitative analysis, real estate finance, or related field.
- Ability to exercise independent judgment and accomplish tasks with minimal oversight.
- In depth financial and analytical skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills in a team-oriented environment.
- Excellent communication skills in all forms.
Director
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Eight years of experience in quantitative analysis, real estate finance, or related field.
- Ability to exercise independent judgment and accomplish tasks with little oversight.
- In depth financial and analytical skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills in a team-oriented environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working within an RIA and/or real estate firm in a similar role
- MBA or other post-graduate degree, CFA or other applicable certification
- Background in project management and/or process improvement
- Financial modeling experience
