Detailed Job Description
The Associate Director of Admissions and Marketing, as a member of the office leadership team and reporting to the Director of RIT/NTID Admissions, will support RIT/NTID enrollment through recruitment, marketing and external communication initiatives. Decisions and initiatives will support admissions and enrollment targets as part of the overall RIT and NTID marketing teams. Work will be done with queries and designing and/or coordinating outgoing communications (i.e., emails, presentations, postcards, publications, events) to identify recruitment and communication priorities and initiatives. This position includes supervision of a staff assistant and the visitation program coordinator as well as student workers, as needed.


Department/College Description

Required Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Relevant Field
5-8 years of experience in admissions and/or marketing with supervision responsibilities.

Skills:

  • Background in supervising staff
  • Working knowledge of databases and queries
  • Innovative knowledge of youth demographics and applications of use
  • Excellent command of English language
  • Experience with Deaf culture and ability to communicate in American Sign Language or willingness to learn
Preferred:
  • Bachelors Degree in business or marketing communication
  • Fluency in American Sign Language strongly preferred
