KPMG is currently seeking an Associate Director, Key Account Marketing to join our Growth & Strategy organization.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with partners to develop account-based marketing strategy for select MPP Financial Sciences and/or Banking sector clients; create marketing plans that prioritize account goals and drive client demand
- Serve as a strategic marketing advisor to define value proposition(s), key buyer challenges, solutions, value messages and positioning programs/exercises; apply Strategic Account Management (SAM) framework to define the account’s growth strategy and Fields of Play (FoP) execution
- Develop tailored and measurable marketing programs and client experience initiatives (Ignition, Alliances, Events, Collateral, Sports Marketing, Digital and more)
- Plan, execute, and optimize the impact of marketing activities and adjust to meet and exceed account revenue goals; apply client Strategic Relationship Management (SRM) tools and approaches to develop relationship growth plans
- Leverage leading MarTech tools to develop customer journeys that reflect KPMG’s business priorities, drive awareness, and generate demand for priority services
Qualifications:
- Minimum eight years of experience developing and executing upon a strategic marketing plan for a complex business, including the following skills: market research, navigating multiple stakeholders, ROI reporting, sponsorship identification and evaluation; deep project management, buyer persona development, buyer journey development, content strategy; Financial sciences and/or banking industry experience preferred
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- Executive relationship manager and trusted, strategic marketing advisor with a proven ability to collaborate and manage expectations of senior business leaders, work well with/between groups with complementary and competing priorities to achieve common goals
- Excellent manager of people, timelines, plans, processes, and budgets; very organized, disciplined and detail-oriented; exceptional oral and written communication skills; strong executive presence and presentation skills
- Deep knowledge of the business environment, KPMG’s scope of services and client issues, possess deep knowledge of leading practices, MarTech systems (Salesforce and associated systems), digital / social marketing, content marketing, external benchmarks and industry trends and understands how to apply them in the KPMG environment; know how to derive insights and report on impact to propose strategies for growth
- Must be able to understand the dynamics of reputation/brand, relationship building and revenue opportunities in a holistic marketing approach, use data and analytics and deep marketing experience to devise growth programs and marketing plans which deliver against business goals, understand a target customer’s values and needs and uses that knowledge to position services and solutions in the most relevant way, leveraging optimal channel mix; understand how to create a point-of-view that is engaging and compelling through various channels and demonstrates ability to ask probing questions to gather meaningful insights and maintains continuous awareness of emerging industry trends
