Job No: 499506 The University Advancement division announces an exciting new position on the Leadership Annual Giving team which will engage with University of Dayton constituents. This position will outreach to alumni, parents, and friends to connect them to areas they are passionate about through opportunities for involvement and financial support that directly impact student scholarships, hands-on learning, and academic excellence that align with UD's mission. Reporting to the Executive Director of Leadership & Annual Giving, the Associate Director, Digital Outreach will be responsible for developing a digital outreach program and managing an aggressive digital outreach strategy designed to utilize a variety of communication methods including: social media, email, text, mail, phone, and emerging technologies with the expressed goal of engaging UD constituents, qualifying them for volunteer leadership and giving opportunities, and building philanthropic support. The Associate Director will work closely with engagement and gift officers to formally qualify constituents and to connect them with engagement and development colleagues who can advance their relationship, level of volunteer involvement, and philanthropic impact at UD. As the University moves into the public phase of a comprehensive campaign, qualification work of this type is one of the division’s top priorities, and as such, this position may have the opportunity to hire and manage a team of Digital Outreach Officers. To that end, the Associate Director will be responsible for helping the Executive Director to develop and track the digital outreach program metrics that will help build the case for additional staffing.
