Associate Director, Digital Marketing & Enrollment

The Associate Director, Digital Marketing & Enrollment will be responsible for developing digital marketing and recruitment content and campaigns for Pace University. The ideal candidate will be a digital marketing professional with strong communication, marketing, and web content background.
Position Duties- Writing, creating, and publishing marketing content across multiple digital platforms, including web, email, social media, and multimedia channels.
- Managing marketing content, campaign, and editorial calendar of online marketing and communications efforts.
- Reviewing data from Google Analytics for Admission and Financial Aid-related web pages to develop recommendations to Enrollment senior management improve the navigation and prospective student web experience on our website.
- Coordinating Slate events and nurturing campaigns.
- Designing and managing personalization campaigns for Pace.edu website and Slate-hosted portal pages.
- Creating and maintaining presentations for the Pace Welcome Center, Admission Events and International Admission.
- Coordinating Search Engine Optimization project: work with agency on web content recommendations for Admission pages as well as academic program pages hosted by the schools/colleges. Obtain approval for changes from AVP and, when appropriate, representatives from schools (Communications Directors and webmasters) prior to implementation.
- Coordinating tagging of digital campaigns supporting inquiry and application generation for graduate academic programs; assisting the agency implementing the campaign, the budget and continually monitoring the campaign to ensure that we are optimizing the performance.
- Supervise a student assistant on creating new content and videos for multiple digital projects.
- Managing and promoting the accepted student online community (PaceboundOnline), a critical part of the conversion process for the spring and fall semesters.
- Training and managing student ambassadors to engage and connect with admitted students on PaceBound Online to help improve the conversion process and reduce melt for the fall and spring semesters.
- Work closely with the University Digital Communications Director and IT to develop new templates, coordinate coding, and improve site navigation.
- Ensuring adherence to the school’s overall brand guidelines and marketing strategies.
- Performs other such duties as may be assigned from time to time.
Position Qualifications- Bachelor’s Degree Marketing, Communications, Business or related field is preferred.
- At least 4 years of experience working in marketing, communications, journalism, digital media, or equivalent combination.
- Must include experience in creating, managing, and analyzing the performance of digital marketing strategies including advertising, email, web, blogs, social media, multimedia content, and other online platforms.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Experience in a professional environment and strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively with all levels of staff and collaboratively across organizational lines.
- Related experience at a college, university, or nonprofit organization is preferred.
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills including experience in writing, editing, and proofing content.
- Strong project planning and campaign management skills.
- Experience creating/coding Drupal templates and managing email and social campaigns.
- Knowledge of digital marketing and experience using multiple forms of new media and technologies.
- Experience with online marketing and recruitment process, including basic knowledge of HTML and web content management systems (e.g. Drupal).
- Experience with Slate or other CRM platforms; willingness to learn new platforms and features.
- Knowledge of digital marketing reporting and diagnostic tools, including a thorough understanding of SEO strategies with knowledge of Google Analytics, Google AdWords, etc.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with strong Excel skills.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and excellent understanding of Photoshop.
- Knowledge of social platforms such as Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
- Proficiency in the video, audio, digital photograph processes, and editing software is a plus.
- Some graphic design skills are a plus.
- Ability to handle situations independently within the scope of the position.
Work HoursMonday through Friday; 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM; some evenings and weekends required;
Hybrid work schedule possible once training is complete.
