We celebrate honesty, creativity, initiative, and teamwork.WHAT YOUâLL DO: We’re looking for an Associate Content Designer to fulfill this role. You will contribute to Product’s content strategy, advocate for content design across the organization, join scrum teams, and collaborate a small (but mighty!) team.
The Associate Content Designer will report to a UX Manager.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work with scrum teams to deliver experiences that are consumer-grade, easy-to-understand, and aligned with our brand.
  • Design scalable processes for managing content needs.
  • Deliver engaging, clear, and concise UI copy for Buildium’s platform and mobile apps.
  • Advocate for human-centered content that helps people accomplish their goals.
  • Develop and demonstrate a deep understanding of customer needs by reviewing data, conducting research, and generating insights that inform content design decisions.
  • Participate in collaborative design sessions with Product Designers, Product Management, and Engineering to reach a shared understanding of deliverables.
  • Contribute to The UX Style Guide and Design System documentation.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
    • You have outstanding writing skills and an editor’s eye for grammar.
    • You may have experience with UX writing for complex workflows and software products.
    • You can juggle different workstreams with nimbleness and grace.
    • You’re comfortable defending work and know how to accept constructive feedback.
    • You pride yourself on your ability to build trust and rapport with others.
    • You’re self-driven, organized, and know how to work collaboratively and autonomously.
    • You may have experience with or exposure to Agile frameworks and have a passion for iterative development.
    • You can clearly and effectively present and communicate design processes, ideas, and solutions to teams and customers.
    • You have a fun-loving spirit and a great sense of humor!

PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
  • Experience with iOS/mobile design
  • Experience in the SMB market and/or B2C products
  • Experience in property management, real estate, or proptech
