The Associate Chief Advancement Officer for Operations and Alumni Engagement reports to the Chief Advancement Officer and is a senior strategic leader for SPH’s advancement team, which includes development and alumni relations. This position is responsible for strategic oversight and management of SPH’s core advancement operations, including donor relations & stewardship, alumni relations & annual giving, advancement events, corporate & foundation relations and communications. The Associate Chief Advancement Officer for Operations and Alumni Engagement assists the Chief Advancement Officer with administration, leadership, and decision-making for the department.
The Associate Chief Advancement Officer for Operations and Alumni Engagement provides supervision and management for the Assistant Director of Engagement, Communications and DEI, the Donor Relations Manager and the Associate Development Officer.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic Oversight of SPH’s Core Advancement Operations: (40%)
o departmental events
o donor relations & stewardship
o corporate & foundation relations
o donor and alumni communications
o Supervises Donor Relations Manager; directs implementation and execution of a comprehensive system of donor recognition for the school to advance donor engagement, cultivation, and stewardship of gifts at all levels. Actively manage gift administration and fund management, scholarship program coordination, support annual giving retention strategies and collaborate on principle gift acquisition strategies.
o Supervises Associate Development Officer; works to secure major philanthropic gifts from individuals, alumni, corporations and foundations. This position also will build the pipeline of donors that give annual gifts with potential for major or planned gift relationships and opportunities.

100% Full-time Academic Professional Non-Faculty; 12 month; Annually renewable contract
Salary range: $100,000-$110,000 depending on qualifications and level of experience
