JOB TITLE: Associate Brand Manager – Goo Gone, 30 Second Cleaners, Magic, Gonzo & SCI
Job DESCRIPTION:
The Associate Brand Manager (ABM) will assist in achieving brand and business goals on two of the company’s largest brands in adhesive removal, Goo Gone, and outdoor cleaning, 30 Seconds, through new product development and commercialization, business and competitive analysis, packaging graphics and advertising development, and tactical execution of plans. Additionally, the ABM will have primary P&L responsibility for managing the Magic, Gonzo & SCI brands.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support new product development from scope to launch
- Develop project scope and business case for new product opportunities
- Create briefs/copy and complete approvals for packaging graphics
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners including project management, package engineering, supply chain, R&D, and sales to complete tasks and resolve issues
- Work with content development team to direct creation of E-Commerce content and advertising to support new product launches
- Conduct business analysis to aid in tracking of brand financial goals
- Review shipments vs forecast on a monthly basis and make recommendations for adjustments
- Analyze point-of-sale data to identify opportunities and risks to forecast
- Track new product launches and analyze sales performance
- P&L Responsibility: Help manage P&L and profitability of the brand
- Analyze competitive information to inform brand strategies and new product introductions
- Extract and analyze competitive information from internal and external sources to identify category trends, competitive product positioning, distribution, pricing, promotion, opportunities and risks
- Conduct store walks to identify changes in the competitive set and new product ideas
- Collaborate with internal content development team and advertising agencies to create content and advertising for social media, E-Commerce, and digital media campaigns
- Develop content/creative briefs to direct content/advertising creation that aligns with business and marketing objectives
- Provide feedback and approvals to finalize content
- Assist with preparing Weiman advertising campaign for national rollout
- Gather and identify consumer insights
- Create and execute consumer surveys to gain insights to inform strategies and develop sell stories
- Ownership and management of brand portfolios
- Oversee overall brand strategy from establishing brand goals to developing brand identity guidelines. Define brand equity and execute against its value
- Collaborate and support sales team by providing and developing relevant brand decks for key customers
- Support key line reviews by developing compelling selling materials on brands including product information slides, category trends/insights, competitive data, and digital assets
- Develop sell slides, request mock-ups and communicate launch plans to sales

EXPERIENCE: *
- Two to three years of experience in brand/product marketing, trade marketing, sales, advertising/ direct/promotional agency or related field
- Brand/product marketing and consumer package goods experience preferred
- BS/BA in marketing, communications, business administration or related field
- Experience working in a cross-functional team
