demanding and complex environment (high level of confidentiality required). Provide information
and assistance to staff, schools, and the public, working through problems and concerns as they
relate to routing. Multi-task to meet various timelines, mindful of the Transportation Department’s
expected level of safety and professional demeanor at all times. Highly organized and detail-
oriented, creatively maximizing available resources to meet the needs of the department. Oversees
the Route Sheet Inspection Program and routing related data. Maintain confidentiality in the
department and the community.
Route Sheets are verified for legibility and accuracy.
3. Provides on-site supervision of the annual Fall and Summer School Pick Days.
4. Daily scheduling and supervision of DUTU staff (including Route Sheet staff) as assigned.
5. Assists the Route Managers in monitoring and supervising a high volume call center and radio
6. Monitors the building security system, controlling access as needed.
7. Functions as Route Manager as assigned.
8. Other duties as assigned.
2. Experience in electronic record keeping and file management. (preferred)
3. Two (2) years supervisory experience (in the transportation field preferred)

2. Valid Illinois commercial driver’s license (CDL).
3. Current school bus driving permit/endorsement (preferred).
