Assistant Property Manager/Leasing Agent Details

A Real Estate company is looking for an Assistant Property Manager/Leasing Agent. The ideal candidate should be reliable, detail-oriented, possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, be able to learn quickly, and remain calm in high-pressure situations while maintaining the highest level of professionalism.

Duties include but are not limited to:

- Provide administrative support to Property Manager under minimum supervision

- Assist in the day-to-day operations of the property

- Conduct leasing work (i.e. showings for potential clients) for company residential properties

- Generate informative data for company projects

- Ensures that residents receive timely communications and prompt responses to all complaints and maintenance requests.

- Respond directly and immediately to property-related issues as they arise

- Key responsibilities include attention to detail, timely communication with property manager.

- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to interact professionally with residents, vendors and maintenance teams.

- Conduct daily property walks and building inspections

- Inspect apartments during move-in and move-out

- Perform unit walks to ensure vacant units are prepared for marketing and leasing

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in business administration or real estate; or an equivalent amount of training in property management, minimum of two years

- Proven knowledge and understanding of property management procedures, including legal requirements

- Basic understanding of construction, electrical, heating and other building systems.

- Proven skills to build strong tenant relationships

- Comfort creating reports and other materials using Microsoft Word and other tools focused on ensuring and maintaining accuracy in record keeping.

Experience:

Property Management: 2 years (Preferred)

Customer Service: 1 year (Preferred)

Leasing: 1 year (Preferred)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
