Responsibilities:
- Assist project manager in managing at the job sites to ensure high quality of work, safe and timely delivery, and optimal resource utilization.
- Assist project manager in developing a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
- Rely on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
- Report and escalate to management as needed
- Help to manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
- Work with vendors to ensure timely purchasing and delivery of materials, tools, and equipment
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties for the flawless execution of projects
- Prepare scoping for contractor bids
- Work on various documentation, including submittals, training materials, as-built documents, change orders and other project-related documents
Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Electrical contracting project management experience is preferred
- Bilingual Spanish speaking is preferred
- Familiar with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices and procedures
- Understanding of electrical installations
- Ability to read electrical drawings is required
- Familiar with computer-based estimating
- Working knowledge of the National Electric Code (NFPA 70)
- 30 Hour OSHA Certification required within the first year
- Strong client-facing verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Advanced time management and analytical skills
- A licensed electrician (preferred) or related field (significant relevant field experience will be considered in lieu of a license)
- A clean driving record is preferred
