PWH is seeking an Assistant Group Home Manager who is compassionate, demonstrates leadership and is responsible for assisting the management of the day-to-day operations of the program.

Responsibilities:- Assists as directed in the supervision of staff to ensure they follow resident specific protocols, including medication administration, meal preparation/feeding where necessary, and personal care needs and that protocol are implemented timely.
- Makes sure all appropriate documentation for health and hygiene activities is accurate and completed as per policy.
- May assist as directed in the development and implementation of the daily/monthly activity schedule and the community outing schedule.
- Provides direction to and is a role model for all staff.
- Demonstrates fiscal responsibility regarding Company and resident funds.
- Performs functions of Direct Care Staff role routinely and as necessary ensuring the personal care and nutritional needs of the residents are met.
- Communicates essential information to staff and external contacts as assigned: demonstrating clear and effective verbal and written communication skills and adherence to established parameters for confidentiality.
- Maintains awareness of all residents and is responsible for ensuring their health, safety and welfare; observes and reinforces all safety rules and regulations, including the use of safety and assistive equipment.
- Contributes to the cleanliness and overall appearance of the site, grounds and vehicles, and ensures the same from Direct Care Staff on the team.
- Communicates effectively with residents, staff, and families/guardians of residents to promote meeting the social, daily living, recreational, leisure time, skill development, and personal care and hygiene needs of the residents.
- Protects resident rights
- Reports any violations, complaints, or grievances to Program Manager immediately.
- Reports any suspected physical or psychological abuse.
- Maintains quality assurance standards
- Maintenance/repair of buildings/grounds/vehicles.
- Ensures that cleaning tasks and duties for the site are completed.
Qualifications:- Have a Passion of helping others.
- High School Diploma, GED or HSED required; Bachelor’s degree in social or behavioral science field preferred.
- Minimum one year of experience in treating or working with developmentally disabled persons.
- Supervisory experience preferred.
- Established work history demonstrating leadership, organizational skills, initiative and team building are highly sought after
- Must have a valid WI Driver's License and personal auto insurance, and must be able to drive a large passenger van (we train)
HoursThis is a full time first/second shift position including working every other weekend. Flexibility is needed to cover third shift and to be on call every other week, 24 hours/7days a week, if the need arises.
