Harborview Medical Center has an outstanding leadership opportunity in our PACU/ASU for an Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM), full time days.

Harborview Medical Center is a level one trauma center and burn center for adults and pediatrics for a four state region; is a teaching and research hospital for the U.W.; and is a public/safety-net hospital for our diverse community.

The ANM performs specific leadership functions related to clinical practice, education, and/or management as delegated by and in collaboration with the PACU/ASU Nurse Manager. As assigned by the Nurse Manager, assumes staff assignments and preceptor responsibility. Provides leadership for unit and departmental activities that promote : delivery of quality nursing care, effective problem solving and communication, and continued professional development for self and others.
REQUIREMENTS:
Requirements:

1. WA RN license.
2. Minimum two years RN work experience, including recent/current ICU experience.
3. BSN degree.

Desired:
1. PACU/ASU experience strongly preferred.
2. National nursing specialty certification desirable (CCRN, CPAN,etc.).
3. Charge nurse experience, preceptor experience, leadership experience.
