The IT Deskside & Executive Support Assistant Manager at Oklahoma State University is responsible for ensuring successful IT Deskside and Executive Support for the OSU community. Key responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to:

Ensuring that policies and procedures are in place to ensure the appropriate resolution and/or routing/escalation of issues presented to the Deskside and Executive Support groups.

Developing and maintaining positive working relationships both within IT and across the OSU-A&M system.

Providing supervision (both direct and/or indirect) for all full time and part time Deskside Support and Executive Support employees. Additionally, the Deskside Support Assistant Manager will strive to build a proactive Deskside and Executive Support team focused on positive customer outcomes.

Assisting with the development and implementation of training plans for Deskside and Executive Support full/part time employees

Periodically this position requires work after hours and on weekends and requires continual availability by cellular device. The compensation advertised includes additional compensation for use of the incumbent's personal cellular device.

HS/GED with four years of related experience. In lieu of work experience, additional related formal education may be substituted.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
