Responsibilities
- Focus on People First! Maintain a culture of internal development by cross training team members and supporting proper training. Use our feedback model to deliver daily performance conversations to other members of the team with a goal to build and enhance productivity and competencies.
- Commit to happier guests! Ensure fast, accurate, and positive guest experiences with exceptional customer service, food production ticket times under 7 minutes, and respond to guest feedback through our Tattle software on a daily basis.
- Ensure safe food handling, cleanliness, and security policies are met according to Company and local health standards and maintain health inspection score of 90%.
- Able to perform different team member job roles in order to role model the standards, support proper training, and assist when needed during peak periods, and to save labor during slow periods of the day. This includes being an expert on our catering services so you can assist customers placing large orders for special events.
- Manage new team member training by ensuring our people process is being followed with every hire, supporting trainers as they train, and signing off on training program checklists and certifications
- Manage controllable food and supply costs by monitoring proper food handling, recipe adherence, waste tracking, and inputting voids, comps, and discounts into the back office administration system.
- Control labor on shift by keeping team members on task and overseeing productivity, and responding to sales by phasing shifts.
- Count, report, and manage daily cash inventory.
Qualifications for Ideal Candidate:
- High School or GED preferred and/or culinary education
- At least 1 year management experience in food service
- Basic knowledge of labor reports, cost of goods, sales reports & product mix, etc
- Serv Safe certified preferred
- Great verbal & written communication skills and strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
- Advanced computer skills or ability to learn new skills quickly; excel, word, google docs.
- Flexible, open minded, and able to pivot with changing goals and initiatives
- Able to work in a fast paced environment and maintain a high degree of pace and intensity for an extended period of time
- Able to be exposed to chemicals and food allergens (including but not limited to; meats, fish, nuts, dairy, and oils) without issue
