*** This Position performs work in Fontana (2 shifts) and Redlands (2 shifts) ***

ARMED SECURITY OFFICER JOB DESCRIPTION

Reports to Quality Control Manager and/ or Client Manager

Position responsibilities

• Patrol and maintain general security of assigned property as described in Post Orders.
• Demonstrate professional communications with residents, visitors, vendors and client staff.
• Respond to emergency calls including medical, fire and damage to property.
• Respond to security related complaints and ensure proper documentation is completed as
• Respond to reasonable business-related customer service
• Generate and submit electronic Incident Reports, parking warnings, and Maintenance reports using a mobile application.
• Work under general supervision of Site Supervisor, Quality Control Manager, and/or Client
• Maintain consistent performance, attendance, uniform appearance, and professional

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years High School graduate or equivalent.
• Possess and maintain a valid State Guard Registration (guard card), Exposed Firearm Card and own firearm, Pepper Spray/ Tear gas certification and Baton
• Ability to successfully pass a firearm qualification with one of our in-house instructors.
• Ability to successfully pass a thorough oral interview
• Ability to successfully pass a multi panel drug
• Ability to successfully pass an MMPI-2 psychological
• Have the legal right to work in the United
• Fluent in English (fluency in other languages a )
• Ability to read, write and understand written orders, policies, procedures, and
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of
• Ability to climb/walk up 10 levels/flights of emergency
• Demonstrate a positive attitude, outstanding customer service skills, and takes initiative while carrying out existing
