CT Metro Protection Services, LLC is recruiting for a competent Armed Security Officers. MUST HAVE AT LEAST 2+ YEARS OF ARMED OFFICER EXPERIENCE.

Monday & Tuesday 9AM-4PM

The current position's hours are:

7:00PM-12:30AM (5.30 HOURS)

The Armed Security Officer will be required to STAND for the position. This position is for a client in Wallingford, CT. The Officer is there to observe, detect and report any issues, as well as be a deterrent for individuals looking to commit a crime.

Responsibilities

• Stand Guard within the designated area of the establishment to maintain order and establish presence.
• Monitor customers entering the establishment
• Make sure that all points of entry are secured after the end of operations
• Maintain constant surveillance and maintain position to deter disruptions or unlawful acts
• Observe & report any type of people for suspicious activity or possessions
• Respond to alarms by investigating and assessing the situation
• Provide assistance to people in need
• Contact 911 in accordance with company and client protocols
• Submission of hourly check ins including any type of important occurrences via app.

Skills & Requirements:

• Retired Police Officer (Preferred)
• MUST have a CT BLUE CARD.
• Proven experience as security officer for a minimum of 2 years
• Knowledge of state laws within the position as a security officer
• Excellent report writing
• Excellent surveillance and observation skills
• Trained & Certified in First Aid/BLS/AED/CPR
• Licensed as a CT Security Officer
• High School diploma is required
• CT Driver's License
• Reliable Transportation

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: Up to $21.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Holidays
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability
