Overview: Abacus Technology is seeking an Application Administrator to support Visual Requirements View (VRV) applications for the Space and Missile Center (SMC). This is a full-time position at Patrick AFB.Responsibilities: Provide help desk assistance for VisualRV users including accessing VisualRV, establishing/maintaining accounts, computer configuration, and verify and standardize user-provided account data, e.g. Organization, Email address, Location, etc. Develop processes for customers, both government and contractor. Interview customers to determine their current, internal processes (if any). Advise customers on VisualRV capabilities, and how they might increase efficiency within processes. Capture requirements. Create/refine State Diagram. Establish participants (Roles and Assignment Codes). Build database-driven process in SQL including data entry in tables and building functions and stored procedures. Guide developers in utilizing existing capabilities and consistency of look and feel. Establish permissions within process. Create SQL queries for customer use using the VisualRV Report Viewer interface. Provide VisualRV troubleshooting. Brief project status to government customers. Keep abreast of organizational/personnel changes that will affect VisualRV. Monitor VisualRV-generated email status (NDRs) as a cue to personnel changes. Update assignments in VisualRV as personnel move in and out of customer organizations using configurable SQL queries. Revoke accounts for personnel who have left positions/employers. Maintain roles and assignment codes to be in line with organizational changes. Monitor user activity in order to anticipate issues, e.g. errors. Produce metrics for activity reports. Provide VisualRV user training, as necessary.Qualifications: 5+ years of experience with business and system analysis for enterprise level projects. Must be A+ CE or Network+ CE certified (or hold a similar certification in compliance with DoD 8570 IAT I). Bachelor’s degree in a related field. In-depth experience with all phases of the software development life cycle and knowledge of a wide array of software languages. Experience with software design and working closely with the end user to verify product will meet business requirements. Experience with scripting languages such as JavaScript. Capable of working with the network or systems team to ensure proper integration of software applications into the existing infrastructure. Able to adapt to the customer environment and develop an understanding of the business. Solid customer service, attention to detail, documentation, and communication skills are critical. Able to work with effectively and professionally with all levels of an organization. Able to work within a team or individually and accomplish tasks with minimal instruction or supervision. Must be a US Citizen and hold a current Secret clearance.
