Position: Anatomic Pathology Assistant

Hours: 8:00am-2:30pm

Location: Gainesville Campus


What You Will Do:

Performs the duties of an Anatomic Pathology Assistant plus the added responsibilities of troubleshooting and departmental maintenance functions. Knows each support area in depth and performs the more complex support duties with a minimum of supervision. Employee performs AP duties in accordance with population specific guidelines and adheres to National Patient Safety Goals as outlined in policy and procedures.


What You Will Need:

  • High School Diploma
  • Successful completion of NPA (National Phlebotomy Association) or ASCP (American Society of Clinical Pathologist) certification in phlebotomy preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years lab experience required, histology experience preferred. Bilingual skills are a plus.
