Under direct supervision, an Analyst in Securities Pricing is responsible for the timely delivery of quality, validated security prices for all business lines. The role supports multiple time zones and service level agreements throughout all Northern Trust locations, 24 hours a day.1. Builds/Maintain close working relationships with global Pricing partners for best practice sharing and internal consulting in support of valuations2. Validating prices for all securities held on Northern Trust's assets and their clients assets, ensuring prices are complete in an accurate and timely manner in line with preset deadlines3. Reconciles all queries in a timely, accurate and appropriate manner4. Assists with the provision of data for the internal and external audit process5. Assists with the preparation of reporting requirements6. Responsible for identifying and resolving problems within established guidelines7. Expected to use some initiative but refer more complex problems to supervisors/experts8. Works effectively as a team member but also independently9. Responsible for obtaining and applying fluent working knowledge of Northern Trust's Pricing Guidelines to all pricing activities A College or University degree and/or some relevant work experience is preferredRelated Industry qualification / or studying towards, is preferred Good oral and written communication skills are requiredAnalytical and problem solving skills are requiredGood knowledge of MS Excel is preferred Customer Service Orientation is requiredAttention to detail and accuracy Keep industry and market knowledge current through the use of various mediaFunctional/Industry knowledge is preferredAbout Northern Trust:
