About the role:
Boston Scientific is looking for an experienced business analyst to help guide our organization into the future. The ideal candidate will have a passion for researching, documenting technical opportunities, identifying, and resolving system issues. The Business Process Analyst will partner with Stakeholders and IT to interpret business objectives and translate them into user stories and workable technology solutions.

Job responsibilities include:

  • Partner with Stakeholders and IT to interpret business objectives and translate them into user stories and workable technology solutions
  • Drive identification of requirements across business units and identify substandard systems processes through evaluation of real-time data Perform, evaluate, and communicate thorough quality assurance at every stage of systems development.
  • Translate requirements into Business User Stories with “Who, What, Why” acceptance criteria
  • Triage User Issues to provide guidance and resolve issues
  • Work closely with the project team (internal and external) to assure a timely solution
  • May lead multiple project activities simultaneously, working with internal and external cross-functional groups
  • Resolve technical issues including diagnosis of problem, recommendations for workarounds and defect correction
  • Build content and processes to educate the project team to system updates and changes.
  • Drive processes to ensure data integrity and consistency across SAP, Manhattan and other supporting systems.
  • Collaborate with the Project Management, Operations, Customer Service, Quality, Manufacturing, and other functions to define and implement end to end process improvements opportunities.
  • Support the group in resolving system and process issues.
  • Foster a community that shares best practices and drives innovative ideas for further improving our planning solution.
  • Develop, execute and document acceptance testing, end to end testing, report test results, bug reports, and drive resolution of defects.
  • Support a work environment of continuous improvement in line with BSC’s Quality Policy, Quality System and appropriate regulations for the areas supported.


What we're looking for in you:
Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required
  • 2 years of proven Business Analysis, Issue & Resolution identification experience
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft suite of tools, including Visio
  • SAP experience
  • Experience in Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies
  • Self -disciplined and results oriented with the ability to meet or exceed deadlines
  • Adaptable to changing situations and priorities
  • Ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communicator with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Collaborative team member with the ability to be an individually creative and innovative thinker
  • Practical experience generating and refining process documentation
  • Experience performing hands on end user support and testing
  • Exposure to Agile & Product Team Methodology will be plus
