Your Role

The Office of the CIO team supports the Chief Information Officer in orchestrating the business operations, strategy, and transformation of the IT Organization. The Agile Coach will report to the Senior Manager of the IT Agile Coaches. In this role, you will support the business-facing portfolio teams and specifically the agile teams in the successful adoption and maturity of Agile. You will also be instrumental in driving enterprise adoption, training and metrics to help accelerate IT’s transformation and Blue Shield of California’s mission.

Your Work

In this role, you will:

  • Facilitate and influence senior leadership to drive culture change, remove impediments, demonstrate agility, creative problem solving, staff the right roles with the right talent, and hold the teams and organization accountable for Agile adoption and maturity.
  • Promote and foster collaboration, accountability, trust, and transparency within and across teams.
  • Develop and present intellectual property to influence roll out of BSC Agile standards and techniques, establish goals and lead teams to continuously achieve and improve.
  • Define measurable metrics to track the success of Agile Delivery adoption. Communicate insights to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Create Enterprise-wide initiatives for internal training certification paths, instructor-led training, and communities of practice.

Your Knowledge and Experience

  • Requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Requires at least 7 years of prior relevant experience
  • Requires SAFe Certification
  • Scrum Master, Product Owner Certification Preferred
  • PROSCI or ADKAR Certification Preferred
  • Requires prior experience as an Agile Coach
  • IT and Healthcare experience preferred
