The group includes Home Lending; Auto; Cards, Retail and Merchant Services; Personal Lending; Consumer Lending Control; and Consumer Lending Shared Services.
The Consumer Lending team partners with other businesses across Wells Fargo to create and deliver transformational experiences that help customers gain access to credit. The vision for the Consumer Lending business is to leverage technology and data to make it simple for customers to easily access credit when and where they need it. Consumer Lending serves customers across the country through our distribution network of more than 5,300 retail banking branches and Home Lending offices, as well as online and digital channels.
The Wells Fargo credit cards Affiliate Marketing Operations Consultant will lead Operations, including digital campaign operations, legal and compliance approvals, and control processes, among other responsibilities, for the effective marketing and distribution of Wells Fargo credit card products via 3rd party Affiliate marketing partner sites. She/he will deliver profitable growth for the bank by helping to get the right credit card products in front of the right customers at the right time, in the places they are shopping online for new credit card products.
Key responsibilities include:
OPERATIONS
- Lead Wells Fargo credit cards Affiliate marketing operations, including, but not limited to:
- Serve as Lead for marketing legal and compliance management, partnering closely with Affiliate marketing channel leads, agency partners, and partner sites to ensure that approved, optimal creative and targeting is accurately deployed
- Partner with internal teammates and external agency partners to deliver marketing landing page management, approvals, and deployments; manage landing page testing and requirements for the Affiliate marketing team
- Conduct regular reviews of day-to-day operations with internal and external partners to identify areas for improvement
- Manage billing and Affiliate vendor management requirements
LEGAL & COMPLIANCE
- Partner closely with Wells Fargo legal and compliance partners, partner sites, and agency partners to ensure that site design, layout, and the presentation of Wells Fargo credit card marketing materials, targeting, and capabilities are deployed in a clear, transparent, and regulatory-compliant manner.
- Includes important responsibilities related to launching new products and offers into market via vital digital distribution channel
- Includes consistent site reviews in partnership with Affiliate agency partners, collaborating with legal and compliance partners on what partner site updates are required and achievable, and influencing site partners to make requested updates
- Become Subject Matter Expert for Wells Fargo Affiliate Marketing compliance and control management through internal training, external research, and attending industry conferences.
MARKETING CONTROLS
- Partner closely with agency partners to ensure their processes and controls exceed standards set by Wells Fargo. Closely manage partner sites’ compliance execution, and work with partners and agency to make improvements as needed.
- Support evaluation of Control workflows to recommend process improvements or define new processes to gain efficiencies
- Partner closely with Affiliate marketing channel leads to complete all Control audits and assessments in an accurate and timely fashion
CAMPAIGN EXECUTION & PARTNER MANAGEMENT
- Ensure that all campaigns and marketing material updates are approved, and are launched according to approved processes and in a timely fashion
- Lead and manage Affiliate marketing asset submission and approvals via asset approval management tools
- Partner with Affiliate marketing channel leads and partner sites for most effective and efficient marketing of Wells Fargo credit cards on partner sites
Required Qualifications
2+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: marketing, digital marketing, digital platform (i.e mobile or social media) demonstrated through work or military experience

Other Desired Qualifications
- 2+ years of digital marketing experience: Advertising operations, Affiliate marketing and/or paid media digital marketing (Search, Display/Native, Social Media) management and execution
- 2+ years of experience working with or for vendor and agency management
- 2+ years of experience actively managing, reporting on, and optimizing digital marketing campaigns and tactics
- Marketing experience in a regulated industry, working closely with Legal and Compliance partners to market products in a manner that meets all regulatory standards
- Experience pulling data and preparing results for review with senior business leaders
- Experience with digital marketing and CRM platforms (Aprimo, SA360, DV360, Social media platforms, Jira)
