Job purpose: To drive and promote estimating and project fulfillment of applied products and product lines sold by ABCO. This will directly contribute to ABCO s mission of exceeding customer s highest expectations by:

  • Managing ABCO AER HVAC Projects from inception to completion, which outlines receiving Mechanical / HVAC Plans and preparing a bid based on the understanding and knowledge of HVAC Design. This includes liaising with all involved parties to ensure projects are accurate, complete, and retuned in a timely manner.
  • Receiving quote request for VRV systems and DX cooling system and preparing responses. Preparing cost estimates for Commercial, Residential, Multi – Residential, School, Religious etc., projects by analyzing project requirements.
  • Analyzing and understanding Mechanical plans, verifying the system s capacity, design feasibility, capacity satisfaction, ASHRAE 90.1 validity and implantation, and making changes in the HVAC design if and when necessary followed by furnishing a proposal.
  • Accompanying technical specialists on site visits for assisted startup or troubleshooting.
  • Providing help desk support to customers as well as sales and branch teams, ensuring that all stakeholders have the most up-to-date and accurate information about projects and the products involved.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

  • Quotation Management and Project Fulfillment
    • Receive requests for quotations and prepare responses in an accurate and timely manner
    • Prepare cost estimates by analyzing Mechanical plans / HVAC Plans and project requirements
    • Confer with customers, sales account managers, and/or outside sales engineers to assess equipment needs and to determine system requirements for projects
    • Plan and modify product configurations to meet customer needs
    • Generate submittals which include accurate drawings and product data
    • Track assigned AER projects from project conception to completion utilizing ABCO s CRM software, Tour de Force
    • Recommend improved products, systems or equipment to customers, specifying how such changes will lower costs or increase efficiency

  • AER Help Desk and Sales Support
    • Serve as internal AER resource to project stakeholders, including:
      • Customers
      • Sales Account Managers
      • Branch Teams
      • Outside Sales Engineers
    • Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements, in order to support and promote the sale of company products, and to provide technical support
    • Provide technical and non-technical support and services to customers, architects, engineers, or ABCO colleagues regarding the use, operation, and maintenance of equipment

Qualifications:

Mechanical Engineering degree preferred.

HVAC industry experience a plus.
