ABOUT THE ROLE:
Our Residential Care Advisor is responsible for providing direct service to persons-served seeking support at the Crisis Center through the Walk-In Program, Central Recovery Center, and the Adult Diversion and Acute Stabilization Unit. The Residential Care Advisor serves primarily as a nursing support, assisting nursing in gathering vitals, assessment information, medication/supply reorders, transporting persons served and other nursing tasks. The Residential Care Advisor also assists the safety staff with the monitoring entry to the crisis center and searches of consumers and visitors or providing meds, and maintaining case management for individuals with mental health and dual (MH/AOD) disorders in a crisis residential setting. You will assist targeted adults with serious and persistent mental illness and their families in accessing services, building support networks and resolving conflicts, as well as maintain clinical records according to organization policy and procedures.
