Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Architect/Developer

Position Description
CGI Federal is seeking an Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Architect/Developer to support a federal agency in Baltimore, MD. The ideal candidate will help support an upgrade from AEM 6.2 to AEM 6.5 on agency servers, convert complex external facing forms from PDF to HTML, and train staff for designing and converting forms in the newer version.

Your future duties and responsibilities
Serve as an AEM architect and developer for an internal CGI team. Play a critical role providing technical leadership and subject matter expertise in Adobe Experience Cloud and Adobe Marketing Cloud technologies, including Adobe Experience Manager and Adobe Analytics Cloud, information architecture, and related CMS technologies to support the enterprise Web site, back-end architecture, and related marketing and sales tool integrations. Collaborate with colleagues, including brand, content, analytics, and the other digital properties, such as social media and e-mail to help shape and refine client business and technical requirements to assist with development activities and final delivery and implementation.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role

  • 5+ years of experience with enterprise content management systems, including features, such as multi-site and multi-channel delivery, personalization and targeting, content aggregation and syndication, multi-lingual support, automated workflow management, and social media
  • 2+ years of experience with implementing AEM solutions
  • Experience with key Adobe CQ/AEM APIs and functionality, including sites, Apps, Assets, Forms, and Commerce and building and testing Adobe CQ/AEM components
  • Experience with Adobe CQ/AEM workflows, authorization and authentication, and deployment model, including replication, dispatcher, and micro kernel
  • Experience with practices, including unit testing, static analysis, and build automation and continuous integration, build, and source management
  • Experience with designing and developing applications and troubleshooting development and production issues
  • Experience with integrating 3rd party applications using Web services and SDKs
  • Experience in working with business teams, vendors, and clients in a collaborative environment
  • Knowledge of modern software delivery processes, tools, and frameworks

Additional Qualifications:
  • Experience with Adobe Experience Cloud, Analytics, Mobile Services, and LiveCycle
  • Experience with Certification or relevant coursework in UX/UI Design or graphics design
  • Experience with various Web services, including RESTful Web Services, SOAP Web Services, and Amazon Web Services
  • Experience in a supervisory role
  • Experience as a strategic thinker that uses data to inform decision-making
  • Experience with working in a professional services firm, consulting firm, or agency
  • Experience with defining objectives by analyzing requirements and specifying system features and functionality
  • Knowledge of marketing, communications, advertising, or a related field
  • Agile Development Methodologies Certification
