Admissions Operations Manager Details

The Admissions Operations Manager is primarily responsible for providing leadership, direction and coordination for the enrollment processes, procedures, and reporting functions needed to support students in selected undergraduate and graduate programs.

Working directly with Program Directors, as well as the Admissions, Information Technology, Financial Aid, the Registrar?s and Bursar?s Offices, the Admissions Operations Manager ensures students seeking admission to designated programs receive the support they need throughout the enrollment process. This person also manages key workflow, data analysis and reporting functions for the University?s Enrollment Management team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Working with Program Directors and other department leadership to streamline the admissions and enrollment processes for students in undergraduate and graduate programs
  • Partnering with the Enrollment and IT teams to establish workflow and reporting capabilities to maximize efficiency and quality assurance
  • Partnering with the IT team to manage system integrations, software updates, and reporting capabilities
  • Hiring, onboarding and supervising the Admissions administrative team
  • Representing the University at student recruitment events
  • Troubleshooting the collection and integration of application materials
  • Running weekly reports to follow the progress of applicants through the enrollment funnel
  • Documenting systems operations and providing training to new employees, as needed
  • Participating in weekly class build meetings with Enrollment and Advisors
  • Ensuring the integrity of data across systems, conducting data and record reconciliation between the online application and the University?s CRM/ERP

Additional Responsibilities may include the following:

  • Attending recruitment events, including some night and weekend events
  • Onboarding new team members
