We are seeking someone to float between our 3 campuses, supporting the administrators, classrooms, and teachers. This role will shift and change every day, providing an exciting new role within our company! With schools in Shakopee, Savage and Bloomington, this role will have you moving between campuses as needed throughout the week.

This is a full time position, and hours will vary slightly from day to day! A typical day with us is a 9-hour work day with an hour lunch break. You might be scheduled between 7am-6pm but will vary from day to day depending on the needs of the campus/classroom you're assigned to that day.

Responsibilities

• This is a "float" position, so the roles each day will change between classrooms (infant/toddler/preschool), administrative duties, and our 3 campuses from day to day to assist as needed
• Might prepare breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snack and deliver to the classrooms
• Wash dishes, clean and sanitize as needed daily

• Assist Lead Teachers in implementing a program of activities that promotes the social, emotional, physical and academic development of each child.
• Monitor and care for the children throughout their school day

• Collaborate with other educators and administrators
• Work in a fast-paced, dynamic and team-oriented environment
• Consistently carry a positive can-do attitude and show initiative to jump in and help wherever needed

Qualifications

• Flexibility and able to shift between tasks/duties is a must
• Be at least 18 years of age, with a high school diploma or GED
• Previous experience in early childhood education (classroom setting)
• Understanding of Rule 3 guidelines, or willingness to learn
• Lead Teacher qualified via Rule 3 would be great, but not required
• Montessori experience/training a plus!
• Strong work ethic and ability to work independently
• Familiarity with safety and sanitation guidelines for classrooms
• Excellent communication and instructional skills
• Ability to act as mediator between children
• Cool-tempered, friendly and reliable
• Balance between a creative mind and a practical acumen
• Certification in pediatric First Aide/CPR (can train if needed)
• Ability to work cohesively with colleagues

Previous experience working in a Montessori setting or Early childhood education is preferred. You must have a positive attitude & strong teaching skills.
