Frankfort KY 40601 USA Description The Division of Fleet Management is a centralized full service provider of automotive leasing and maintenance for all state agencies within the Commonwealth of Kentucky. With the highest level of integrity, Fleet Management works to provide all users with safe efficient affordable transportation.

  • Excellent customer service and problem mitigation
  • Computer literacy i.e. Microsoft Office suites specifically focusing on Outlook and Excel

  • Tasks prioritization
Brief duty description:
  • This job includes but is not limited to:
  • Maintain inventory data for over 5000 vehicles
  • Process leases for Fleet maintained vehicles
  • Provide administrative support to Fleet agency contacts in regards to the implementation of vehicle safety recalls
  • Provides reports for the Branch Manager and Administrative Section Supervisor in regards to vehicle assignment maintenance costs repair costs and mileage entry
  • Procure collision repair estimates field phone calls collaborates with automotive collision repair shops to facilitate the repair of wrecked vehicles
  • Executes and maintains the process of ensuring accurate registration of all Fleet maintained vehicles
  • Coordinates the surplusing of retired Fleet owned assets
  • Processes state owned vehicles for licensure and registration pursuant to 200 KAR 40:020
  • A nominal percentage of these job duties do require working outdoors
  • Provides backup support to the automotive parts department of our maintenance section as well as other administrative positions as needed
Minimum Requirements EDUCATION: Graduate of a college or university with a bachelor's degree.

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, OR SKILLS: Three years of professional, administrative, or business experience.

Substitute EDUCATION for EXPERIENCE: Additional education will substitute for the required experience on a year-for-year basis.

Substitute EXPERIENCE for EDUCATION: Additional administrative, business, research, and/or clerical experience will substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis.
