Job Responsibilities:
- Provide general office support including draft correspondence, fax, copy, e-mail, scan, setting up meetings and maintenance of calendars and gatekeeper/problem solver.
- Gather/organize DCF staff and student records and ensure kept up to date/compliant.
- Collect and Post payments (checks/credit cards) for childcare/before & after school/summer. Update tuition report weekly and monitor payment status to weekly tuition report. Follow up with outstanding payments and notify Principal/AP of any on-going payment issues.
- Ensure the “Red Safety Binder” is kept up to date with all required compliance documents including monthly fire drills, fire extinguisher and health department inspections.
- Coordinates school substitutes, as needed.
- Coordinates volunteers and service learners including ensuring compliance with DCF/School District related to background screening and collecting participation data.
- As needed, provide excellent customer service at front desk including professionally greeting all guests/team members/families in person and on the phone, assisting with questions/information requests.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Education and Training: (or equivalent)
- Associate Degree (or equivalent ) preferred.
- 40 Hour DCF Training, Directors Credential Preferred
Minimum Experience:
2 years or more administrative experience
Strongly prefer experience working in a school or childcare setting.
Prefer program management experience
