Admin Assistant to VP of Nursing - Hospital Administration - Baptist Medical Center
Position Summary:The Administrative Assistant to VP provides administrative, reception and clerical support to a Vice President. May supervise other clerical staff.

Essential Functions:The Administrative Assistant to VP responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Provides receptionist, clerical and administrative secretarial support

  • Coordinates the preparation of budgets, reports, data collection, data entry, data research and analysis, programs, and distribution of reports

  • Greets customers and handles and/or facilitates problem resolution

  • Types and copies, schedules appointments, coordinates meetings, arranges corporate travel, records minutes of corporate meetings, screens and redirects mail, orders supplies, prepares requisitions and work orders, and files/maintains files
Accountability: The Administrative Assistant to VP reports to assigned Vice President

Adminstrative Assistant to the Vice President of Human Resources requires read only access to various HRIS applications. Strict maintenance of confidentiality required. Required Physical Demands (Subject to Reasonable Accommodation):

Qualifications:
  • Bachelors Degree and one year of experience or Associates Degree and 3 years of secretarial experience or 5 years secretarial experience

  • Training in secretarial procedures through formal education or by experience

  • Previous legal secretarial experience, if applicable

  • Experience with Microsoft Office

  • Must be able to communicate effectively in English

  • IBMC Administration Office Only: Notary Public licensure required within 180 days of hire
