Admin Assistant for Business Networking Organization (UNPAID INTERNSHIP) Details

Personalee - Riverside, CA

Employment Type : Full-Time

The Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO) is a global, peer-to-peer network of more than 12,000+ influential business owners with 175 chapters in 55 countries. Founded in 1987, EO is the catalyst that enables leading entrepreneurs to learn and grow, leading to greater success in business and beyond.

The local chapter administrator for EO Inland Empire is currently seeking an opportunity to teach a driven, business-minded individual, to help manage a group of (24) business owners that are a part of this professional group.

Entrepreneurs are busy people and each role on the chapter board is a volunteer position. Here are some learning opportunities for the EOIE Intern:

  • Assist with tasks needed to reach the organization's goals
  • Event Coordinating
  • High-end customer service
  • Onboarding
  • Record Keeping
  • Systems Creation
  • Non-profit administration
  • Digital Marketing
  • Networking
  • Some finance/budgeting
  • Project Management
  • Graphic Design

Now that we're done with all the official info, let's get real. I began working for EOIE 2 years ago. In the past 2 years, I have learned SO MUCH from these entrepreneurs that I now have my own business! Just the connections you will make in this group are worth more than a paycheck. I am all about sharing knowledge and I hope to find someone that could possibly take over my position in the future.

The best things about this internship?:

  • Direct connections with entrepreneurs and business owners from the Inland Empire and at times from around the world. (And from all kinds of industries: construction, law, marketing, real estate, accessories, staffing, accounting, pet care, aviation, etc.)
  • Flexible hours, make your own schedule, participate as much as you want.
  • Ability to participate in most learning/social events at no charge (Past events: Go Kart Racing, Palm Springs Business and Health Conference, Prince EA, Bitcoin Education, Parties, Happy Hours, Speaker Sue Klebold - mother of one of the Columbine shooters, ZTag Spring Family Festival, Business Coaching, NASCAR Racing, Demo Flights) Free meals at all events, books and goodies, and so much more!

FYI: Each school will have its own requirements for a student who is looking to get credit for the internship. Any student intern who is seeking school credit presents that information to the organization and sets forth the expectations of the school so that the organization can ensure that it is providing the student with the required training and experience that will allow the student to get the credit.

This internship is open to anyone (not just students) who is:

  • Detail-oriented
  • Positive
  • Professional
  • Quick learner
  • Organized
  • Responsible
  • Honest
  • Excellent communicator in both writing and verbal
  • Tech-Savvy
  • Creative
  • A PROBLEM SOLVER

My vision is that this could be a 6 months - 1 year internship. Slowly we will provide knowledge to the intern so that this can then possibly become an actual paid job position.

I truly love EO and I plan to be involved with the organization in one way or another, but as they have helped me grow, it is my turn to help someone else. There is so much more I could say but let's get on a zoom call instead!

P.S. This position will be filled by the company Personalee, NOT EOIE. All communication, resumes, and interviews will be between the prospective intern and Personalee.

THIS IS 100% AN OPPORTUNITY YOU DO NOT WANT TO MISS!
