The University of California, San Diego Health System seeks an individual to oversee the team tasked with the responsibility of daily operations of Office 365 administration, Active Directory, and Azure Active Directory. The successful applicant will have a background in leading the implementation and administration of an Office 365 tenant connected to a DIAD v3 tiered administrative forest(s) model. The incumbent will manage a team that is responsible for the entire messaging stack, including mail routing via a hosted Proofpoint instance, synchronization of AD attributes using Microsoft Identity Manager, Azure AD connect, and Quest Active Roles toolsets. In addition, the applicant will have high level knowledge of implementation and administration of PAW systems and PAM technologies for security and daily administrative duties. The supervisor will obtain requirements and work closely with the senior department representatives to deliver robust and secured authentication solutions for all enterprise applications. The incumbent will have a good background in technical writing, project management and documentation. In conjunction with the senior staff, the incumbent provides system design proposals, analysis, maintenance, monitoring, cost analysis and hardening designs (including data security) of systems and servers including installations, upgrades, patches, as well as documentation with primary responsibility for the implementation, management, support and maintenance of various system software products and hardware components that comprise enterprise physical and virtual computing infrastructure. Provides leadership in managing and supporting the systems/hardware infrastructure and associated resources. Provides 7/24 problem escalation management support and resolution for all applications and operating systems. Incumbent will have advanced knowledge with a variety of software tools, including those related to support and implementation. Incumbents provide consultation and knowledge transfer with respect to a variety of authentication system and software components. General knowledge and experience running systems in the following areas is preferred: Windows Server, Office 365, and Proofpoint. Support knowledge and expertise with Cloud Computing technologies such as Azure and Office 365 administration and implementation. The candidate works with various parties to bring technical projects to completion as well as designing and managing Active Directory Services, DFS and integration of AD/Azure AD, VMWare SSO and Infoblox with various system platforms and related services. Nine (9) years of related experience, education/training in design and deployment of complex IS systems and technical supervisory experience, OR a Bachelor’s degree in related area plus five (5) years of related experience/training design and deployment of complex IS systems and technical supervisory experience. Professional experience and proven success performing systems integration and deploying complex systems integration solutions.
