We are looking for a skilled Accounts Receivable Specialist to provide financial, administrative and clerical services. Our Accounts Receivable Specialist is responsible for collecting payments for our company using skills in project management, organization, and communications to collect the payments from clients. Our Accounts Receivable Specialists will track payments and run reports that will assist our accounting department daily.

Responsibilities

• Maintain bookkeeping databases and spreadsheets, updating information as needed
• Communicate with patients and customers to request payment and arrange payment plans
• Collect payments from clients and accurately record it into the system
• Update client accounts based on payment or contact information
• Communicate with clients via email and phone with exceptional customer service and accuracy
• Accurately invoices all clients completing this duty within established time guidelines.
• Audits client files as required.

Skills

• Proven working experience as accounts receivable clerk, accounts receivable manager or accountant
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, fair credit practices and collection regulations
• Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
• Hands-on experience in operating spreadsheets and accounting software (Excel and QuickBooks)
• Proficiency in English and in MS Office
• Customer service orientation and negotiation skills
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
