POSITION SUMMARY: Billing by use of equipment and hard copy billing for the services performed at the facility. Responsible for the compliant resolution of moderate to complex third party claim edit rejections in the patient accounting system and the billing editor. Analyzes, oversees and evaluates patient account payer denials and rejections for the purpose of writing and implementing system edits to prevent the reoccurrence of future rejections and denials. Manage projects relating to billing of claims. Responsible for compliant collecting and managing account payments of physician practices. Responsible for submitting claims and following up with insurance companies (Managed Care). Analyzes, oversees and evaluates patient account payer denials and rejections for the purpose of writing and implementing system edits to prevent the reoccurrence of future rejections and denials. Manage projects relating to billing of claims as appropriate. Minimum Education and/or Experience:
