Machine Saver is a technology company out of Houston, TX. We are a smaller company that was founded in 2013. Our goal is to create and manufacture useful and widely circulated sensors and software for protecting industrial machines. We are a close knit team built up of dedicated long term team members that believe in our cause and want to grow with our solutions and successes for years to come. Our average employee on our dynamically built team has been with the company for over 3.5 years. We take pride in this culture that has allowed many dedicated friends to be accepted and work together for years on end.
We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Manager who knows how to make an impact!
This is someone who has (at the minimum) experience at entry levels in a professional setting and is ready to take on management with an up an coming company. This is a modest pay position that has the ability to grow into 6 figures in a short time by growing with us.
The ideal candidate is someone who is committed to achieving learning goals and maintaining the organization of our office. This is a powerful position that will be tasked with assisting our management with ensuring our process is not only functioning, but intuitive. We will also have salary incentives with creating and maintaining new processes.
We are located in Southwest Houston and due to the nature of the position, we will require you to be in person with our leadership team every morning at 7:50 am to start each day with the company wide huddle up and finish the day at 5pm. Early risers and ambitious people do well here!
As our Accounts Receivable Manager, your mission will be to efficiently process orders, maintain our inventory, communicate with purchasing agents from our customers, and to act as the liaison between sales, manufacturing and fellow managers. To achieve this mission, you will:
- Embrace Machine Saver’s culture of empowerment and transparency by engaging in healthy debate with leadership (No Fear of Conflict) and sharing what is not working well on a weekly basis.
- Demonstrate urgency, professionalism, and thoroughness with every customer order processed.
- Manage our inventory by carefully keeping track of details of shipments, organizing Bill of Materials with every order, maintaining our project board by working with the manufacturing manager, and labelling/maintaining our stock of parts.
- Accurately complete records in our Enterprise Recourse Planning (ERP) Software.
- Take accountability for Machine Saver’s appearance and overall satisfaction of our customer’s projects and orders.
- Inspect and rectify all areas of our books and inventory to perfection.
- Professionally communicate with vendors and make budget conscious decisions.
- Work as a team with the office staff to ensure overall excellence with our team.

Requirements
WHAT YOU BRING TO MACHINE SAVER
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of experience with processing POs / Sales Orders
- Experience with Quick Books, SAP, or a similar system
- Experience with organizing a small office or medium size office admin team
Compensation:
- Full time employee monthly base salary of $2,426.00, plus bonuses.
- Blue Cross Blue Shield medical monthly is a 50/50 split between employee and company.
- (10) Ten vacation days annually (requires 2 weeks advance scheduling)
- (8) Eight days personal time off (PTO) any time and for any reason
- (6) Six 2021 annual company sponsored and scheduled holidays such as New Years, Labor Day, Memorial Day.
- We encourage employees continuing education and will work with you to coordinate your school schedule and work.
- Machine Saver Inc. agrees to supply a laptop computer, phone and any other tools like software or equipment required to complete the task documented above.
