Position Description:

The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for the full cycle of accounts payable processing and understanding of the end to end process. The Accounts Payable Specialist will work within several accounting software systems such as Quickbooks, Expensify, Automate, and G Suite (google) products.

We'll count on you to:

• Review, process, and pay all invoices in a timely manner for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment
• Establish and maintain relationships with new and existing vendors by responding to payment status inquiries and reconciling vendor statements
• Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices
• Assist in month end close procedures and post journal entries
• Reconcile accounting schedules
• Prepares special financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends
• Track, maintain, and reconcile monthly corporate credit card transactions through Expensify

Skills and Qualifications:

• 3+ years of Accounts Payable or general accounting experience preferred
• Proven success as an effective, collaborative team player while also functioning independently
• Strong mathematical skills coupled with the ability to think analytically
• Highly organized and meticulous documentation for all accounting activities is critical
• Advanced PC Skills including Expertise in MS Office
