• Review, enter, post AP invoices to appropriate GL account into accounting software
• Monitor group email box, print, sort and file emails accordingly
• Assist in weekly vendor payment schedules
• Assist in reviewing purchase requisitions
• Assist in month-end close and related duties
• Review and reconcile vendor statements
• Communicate with vendors via telephone and email
• Assist in preparing Use Tax reports
• Assist in monthly check clearing process
• Work with cross functional departments to resolve issues in a timely manner
• Filing records in a timely and organized manner
• Support Financial Audit requests
• Work under confidentiality to obtain financial data for accounting records
• Ad hoc projects and reporting, as required

• AA or BA Degree in accounting, finance or related field
• Minimum of 2-3 years working experience in a similar position
  • Accounts Payable Clerk, Bookkeeping, etc.
• Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Outstanding math and research skills
• Accuracy and attention to detail are critical
• Knowledge of ERP systems usage and related data flow, Microsoft D365 a huge plus
• Basic computer skills are essential specifically proficient use of MS Office Suite programs.
• Critical and effective problem solving and decision-making skills with the ability to work on one’s own initiative to resolve competing priorities and with minimum supervision
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
• Be a strong team member with the ability to identify and drive efficiency improvements
