The Accounting Clerk position will include, but not limited to: Accounts payable, cash reconciliation, payroll time and attendance entries, assist with periodic reporting, and period closing functions. Purpose Provide our clients with timely and accurate accounts payable entry, payroll time uploads, payroll maintenance, and payroll production, sales tax preparation and additional duties as assigned. Duties and Responsibilities Accounts payable entry – emphasis on accuracy Document imaging and indexing – emphasis on accuracy CR (sales) uploads Payroll – emphasis on accuracy Time clock entry or upload Payroll maintenance Payroll production, printing, packing and shipping Weekly SRW report generation Ad hoc report generation as assigned Monthly sales tax preparation – emphasis on accuracy Bank reconciliations Other duties as assigned Skill Requirements Ability to work in a task oriented, deadline driven environment each week Ability to work quickly and accurately with payables, payroll, sales uploads, and reporting Microsoft Excel skills – above average – crucial to success Time management and multi-tasking Effective use of technology Qualifications 1. Preference given to experienced applicants but not required 2. Preference given to prior retail accounting experience 3.
