RE/MAX Concepts has an immediate opening for a full time Accounting Assistant. If you have experience in a fast-paced work environment along with computer and typing skills this may be the position for you.
The Accountant is responsible for providing excellent customer service to our clients in a timely manner. Job duties would include but not limited to:
- Assist in processing accounts payables and receivables for transactions and at company level
- Processing daily ACH batches, bank deposits and transfers
- Assist with Property Management and REO payments, collections, and reconciliations
- Prepare bank and trust account reconciliations
- Performing data entry across multiple platforms for multiple companies
- Compile reports on an ad hoc basis
- Respond to emails and phone calls from agents and customers in a timely manner
- Assisting the Accounting Director in projects and other daily activities as assigned
The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in an independent work environment, but also enjoys working as part of a team. Candidates must have:
- 1 year of experience in basic accounting
- Associate's Degree in accounting or related field preferred
- Background in real estate or property management is preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently and with a strong attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products is preferred
- Ability to type 60+ words a minute is required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
