The Account Manager is responsible for supporting the overall sales goals by driving ENB™ procedure utilization within new and existing accounts and sales of the superDimension™ Navigation System within the assigned territory.
A Day in the Life
Promote and sell the entire ILS portfolio of products within a defined geography
- Increase ENB™ procedure utilization through physician and hospital awareness meetings and programs. Sell superDimension™ Navigation Systems to new accounts within the territory
- Manage existing accounts and launch new hospitals with the superDimension™ Navigation System
- Provide procedure support to physicians, staff and supporting departments
- Execute Implementation Plan in new accounts, setting expectations with customers and supporting a multidisciplinary approach and lung nodule programs
- Collaborate with the regional manager, market development executives and clinical education specialists
- Deliver and support on-site and home office educational events for physicians and staff
- Expand ILS product usage by selling system disposables (procedure kits, biopsy tools, fiducial markers, patient surfaces, etc.).
- Organize and execute procedural and business review meetings with hospital administration, physicians and department directors
- Analyze market data to identify opportunities and share with customers; discuss issues and identify action plans
- Sell service, extended warranties, system upgrades and second systems.
- Strengthen presence of superDimension™ ENB within the hospital and defend against competitive threats
- Manage territory travel and expense budget
- Effectively build a territory business plan which incorporates detailed assessment of all current and potential accounts, identifying and executing on areas of opportunity
- Collaborate with colleagues from other COTs to leverage relationships and drive cross-portfolio sales.
- Meet and exceed assigned sales quotas and objectives in all categories
DEPARTMENT SPECIFIC/NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Utilize technology and data to analyze territory, effectively target accounts and pre-call planning
- Maintain knowledge of the current industry / competitive landscape, healthcare economics, reimbursement, competitors and competitive products etc.
- Interact with Education, Product Marketing, Market Development, Customer Service, and other internal departments
- Resolve customer complaints in accordance with Company policy, and advises sales management promptly of any situation beyond the Sales Representative’s ability to resolve
- Remain current with all vendor credentialing requirements which include immunizations and hospital protocol certification
Must Have: Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 3 year of sales experience required with an introductory knowledge of company products and services
Nice to Have
3 years of documented outside sales success in a competitive, sophisticated environment, preferably tangible products
- Previous medical sales job (significant procedural experience, preferably technical in nature and operating room environment)
- Evidence of top sales achievement with experience in multilevel account management.
- Excellent written, verbal skills; proficient with Windows Office Products
- Ability to develop and present complex business reviews/presentations
- Strong organizational skills
