DESCRIPTION SUMMARY:

Account Manager is responsible for selling products and services in a pre-established territory. Account Manager must be able to grow sales territory to obtain company goals. Account Manager is expected to perform at 100% to quota. Individual should maintain records on each account and communicate as often as required with all current accounts. All potential account issues must be resolved immediately.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ability to sell Byram services utilizing a structured sales process.
  • Ability to partner with HCP offices to identify customer needs and partner to build stronger relationship to drive higher customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to develop a progressive, long-term, referral generating relationship with the customer. Capable to learn and present Byram’s value proposition (i.e. features and benefits).
  • Ability to successfully present and implement new marketing programs within the assigned territory.
  • Ability to organize time and prioritize schedule to maximize exposure to key customers within a defined territory. Effective pipeline management is essential.
  • Ability to prospect, identify and quality new referral opportunities. Capable of identifying and focusing on priority accounts.
  • Ability to convert current and new customers into a progressively growing referral system and revenue base.
  • Ability to effectively network with healthcare professionals, institutions, community agencies, key trade associations, and specific manufacturers to promote Byram’s value proposition. Able to attend and represent Byram at trade shows, conferences, association meetings and educational seminars.
  • Ability to develop creative solutions to identified customer issues and to respond in a manner that improves the customer relationship. Ability to communicate and direct customer requests with Byram’s operations centers; and informs Byram’s operations management and staff of key selling activities.
  • Ability to construct, work to and report a monthly business pan.
  • Ability to report standard and requested information relating to activity and outcomes within assigned territories (account profiles and activity, sales call, and expense reports, etc.)
  • Ability to stay current and trained on Reimbursement, Operations and Diabetes knowledge. This includes the ability to clearly define Diabetes pertinent to all customers’ payer mix. Account Managers must be active in working with their Operations, Reimbursement and Diabetes counterparts to develop and execute pull through initiatives for all contracts.
  • Timely and appropriate attendance at required meetings and timely, accurate, effective communications.
  • Ability to use voicemail, e-mail, computers in communications.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum 3 years prior sales experience necessary. BS or BA degree desired. Knowledge of Medicare criteria desired. Other advanced education or commensurate experience in another health care environment is a plus. Salesforce experience desired. Advance skill level of Microsoft Office Suite; specifically, Word, Excel & PowerPoint.

EXPERIENCE:

Requires strong verbal and written communication skills. Requires excellent presentation and organizational skills. The ability to provide client services and present Byram in a professional manner is important. Basic managerial skills are needed to coordinate efforts of support from multiple disciplines. Must be ethical, enthusiastic, and charismatic and have a strong work ethic. Competitive with a passion to excel. Ability to comprehend the big picture and the Byram mission and strategic priorities. Computer skills as required for communication and reports, such as e-mail, Internet, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
