The Role

We’re on the hunt for an experienced Account Director who ranks in the top quartile among their peers. Someone who has a highly competitive and entrepreneurial mindset that is wired with a team-first attitude, has no problem rolling up their sleeves to execute their missions, and can modulate between leading and following as needed.

The Account Director represents the voice and face of Solera to our Key Accounts at both Regional and Corporate levels while leading a team of Field Account Managers that are responsible for dealership utilization, satisfaction, and growth. The Director’s mission is to retain and grow existing relationships by driving performance improvement with all Solera solutions while being responsible for maintenance, product penetration, and revenue growth.

The Account Director will help define and develop the client’s Marketing, CRM and Service Solution programs with support of the client, and internal Solera team. This position will work with all necessary teams to maintain program support to achieve the client and their dealers’ goals. The Account Director will partner with the National Director of Key Accounts to educate the field team and relay program initiatives and priorities each week. In working with the field, the Account Director is responsible in helping the team achieve the retention and revenue goals for the

Some of the day-to-day responsibilities are:

  • Status meetings with Client on program projects and enhancements
  • Working with management of product, creative and operational support team initiatives
  • Sales and training support for the Key Accounts dedicated field team
  • Quarterly business review of program

What You’ll Bring

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in Business (Sales or Marketing focus preferred) or equivalent work experience.

Experience:

  • Qualified candidates must have 5-7 years of experience in an OEM or vendor role
  • Preferred candidates will also have worked for 5+ years in the automotive industry
  • At this Director level, previous experience managing enterprise clients, and guiding a group of virtually located employees, is essential

  • Develop and deliver presentations to executive-level client contacts
  • Effectively convey processes and training
  • Listen to others and appropriately act on information provided
  • Multi-task, prioritize, organize and coordinate projects to meet simultaneous deadlines
  • Work independently with minimal supervision and under constant deadline pressure.

  • Use a variety of computer programs / systems to track results (Salesforce.com, Word, Excel, Email, Internet, etc.)

Other Qualifications:

  • Must be able to travel up to 30% of the time
