The Right Person for this position is ready to be responsible for managing every aspect of asbestos or other hazardous materials removal, from project bid to project completion including lead generation, project proposal, cost estimation, project initiation and oversight, team leadership and client relationship management, meeting all project metrics including timelines and budgets while achieving positive results for clients and company. Responsibilities :

  • Manage restoration project using industry-approved practices
  • Generate sales from current, former and new clients
  • Understand and communicate scope of potential project to client and management team
  • Develop competitive cost estimates for potential projects based on industry standards and professional experience
  • Ensure assignments are executed on-time and on-budget with technical proficiency, accuracy, and professionalism.
  • Maintain accurate paperwork throughout the project: Contracts, Meeting Minutes, Change Orders, Submittals, etc.
  • Visit client to provide scope and estimate of project.
  • Communicate with crew on necessary service requirements.
  • Communicate with insurance provider, including all details of project
  • Review job costing regularly to assure that the jobs are proceeding as expected.
  • Manage deadlines, progress, and quality on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Track metrics during bi-weekly goal setting.
  • Build partnerships to improve performance with vendors and tradesman.
  • Work in indoor and outdoor conditions.
  • Meet operational objectives of Sales, Gross Margin, Brand Experience.

Qualifications :

  • AHERA Asbestos Certification or equivalent
  • Able to demonstrate experience in the management of construction designs, budgets and schedules.
  • Experience in delivery of projects on-time and on-budget.
  • Able to communicate effectively (written and verbal) with superiors, co-workers, clients and subcontractors.
  • Able to provide oversight and direction throughout projects.
  • Travel as required to fulfill position and project responsibilities.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical, construction-related field (i.e.: architecture, construction management, engineering) preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of Project Management experience in a Tenant Improvement/Restoration construction environment.
  • Must be able to perform multiple tasks and handle multiple priorities and have the ability to perform exceptionally under high-stress conditions.
  • Knowledge of computer operations and standard software packages.
  • Proficiency of Microsoft Office suite.
