PRYER Aerospace is hiring for a Full Time Experienced 5-Axis CNC Operator. PRYER Aerospace is a leading provider of structural components, assemblies and kits to the aerospace industry. We specialize in the fabrication of complex sheet metal and machined components for commercial, corporate and military aircraft.

POSITION SUMMARY: Load and operate the 5-Axis Laser optimizing its efficiency to meet customer requirements.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Loading tool(s) and operation of 5-axis laser for trimming of various alloys.
• Operate CNC, edit programs, utilize precision measurement equipment.
• Provide feedback for product improvements for quality and cost as part of ongoing learning process of operations.

EDUCATION: High School diploma or equivalent.

EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum six (6) months related (5-Axis laser & or 5-Axis machining) experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Previous CNC experience.

SKILLS/ABILITIES:

• Ability to read, interpret and edit G Code.
• Demonstrated ability to proficiently use precision measuring equipment.
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret documents such as blue prints, engineering drawings and schematics.

COMPUTER SKILLS: Basic computer skills.
