General Description
The Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician will be responsible for maintaining and improving process equipment in order to support the production team. The Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician will also be responsible for working with the maintenance team to improve existing processes and repair techniques.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducts themself in a safe and courteous manner in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Identifies, troubleshoots and resolves equipment failures
- Performs preventive maintenance routines
- Performs site specific checks of facility systems
- Efficiently communicates plant issues in a timely manner
- Works responsibly to find long term value-added solutions
Key Skills/Abilities
- Knowledge of electrical wiring, controls, plc
- Knowledge of mechanical systems including bearings, shafts, rollers,
pneumatics
- Judgment and decision making
Education and Experience Required:
- High School Diploma at minimum
- 5+ years in a manufacturing environment
- 5+ years of electro-mechanical experience
Desired:
- Knowledge of food processing or packaging
- Experience with Allen Bradley Logix/Studio 5000
