Job Description

Serve as the KGSO Americas Operations Procurement Specialist supporting the Americas Region. Provide Keysight Product Configuration support for the Service and Delivery Teams. Physically receive and manage equipment delivered to the Roseville Lab, determine if calibration is required, route for Cal or delivery. Manage Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) supplies for the Americas Region: Receive and route, provide monthly inventory and route for shipping. Provide Project Management Support to Americas Service and Delivery Team. Manage Authenticity Validation process for Equipment purchased through Refurb Market.

Will support regional staff and provide tactical procurement including but not limited to vendor sourcing, quoting, new supplier set-up, purchasing, order tracking and closure. Will coordinate with suppliers and internal delivery teams to ensure pending orders are prioritized to meet customer requirements. Engage with other technical and strategic team members to ensure key metrics meet performance expectations. Seek to execute purchasing strategies that focus on budget, efficiency and speed.

Job Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Manage Keysight Product Orders: record in Internal Order Management Tool and maintain and update through receipt of the order. Expedite and Escalate as required.
  • Schedule, monitor, prioritize and expedite purchases to support Delivery Projects on behalf of the Americas Service and Delivery Teams.
  • Work closely with key Technical and Strategic team members within Keysight as business requires.
  • Process requisitions and purchase orders for purchases according to company standards and procedures.
  • Monitor purchased materials and services through the procurement lifecycle. Communicate and resolve supplier-related problems as they occur.
  • Interface with delivery teams and quality functions to audit suppliers as appropriate to ensure performance to Keysight objectives.
  • Conduct business in accordance with agreed strategies and in accordance with Keysight standards.
Job Qualifications
  • BS degree in Business or applicable professional experience in a similar position, or
  • AS in Science or applicable professional experience.
  • Minimum 2 years strategic and/or tactical procurement experience in a service and support environment.
  • Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint, with successes in negotiation.
  • Product knowledge in major test and measurement systems and instruments.
  • Experience identifying process, skill, and performance gaps; developing implementation plans to fill gaps, including establishing standard work and, KPI’s.
  • Proven capability to develop and implement a plan to support expense control and/or cost savings and establish strong internal and supplier relationships.

Preferred Experience

  • Keysight (Agilent/HP) Test & Measurement Service & Support Experience.
  • Supplier management experience or operations procurement experience preferred.
  • Experience with quality standards (ISO 9001, ISO 17025, ANSI Z540) is beneficial.
