About us
Stay Calm & Start CPR, LLC is an approved American Heart Association (AHA) Training site with a Training Center Faculty and authorized through the AHA Training Center.
Seeking currently Certified American Heart Association ACLS Instructor that is capable of also teaching BLS CPR Heartsaver. You would teach classes for our organization in our office in Ambler. There is an opportunity to teach 4 times per week or more depending on your desire and student registration.
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Responsibilities: The instructor's responsibility is to teach classes to healthcare providers from the community according to American Heart Association guidelines. The instructor will provide high-quality instruction according to AHA requirements, deliver a high level of customer service to students, provide necessary reports, and manage/clean equipment.
Requirement:
- Current AHA Instructor License required for each discipline (BLS, ACLS )
- Ability to teach in front of a small group no larger than 15 people
- Friendly and outgoing attitude to maintain a fun feel in class.
- Strong time management skills.
- Experience as an advanced healthcare provider (AEMT, Paramedic, PA, RN)
Education:
- High School Education/GED or equivalent: Preferred
- Associate's/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Preferred
Work Experience:
- One year experience in instructing classes: Preferred
- Current PALS instructor certification also highly preferred
Required Licenses/Certifications:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Instructor Certification: Required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Instructor Certification: Required
- Valid Driver's License: Required
Pay: $35.00 - $50.00 per hour, incentive bonus
