Position Summary:

The Pharmacy Technician Pharmacy will support Anticoagulation Clinic by working with patients and caregivers and supporting functions of the clinic. These functions include but are not limited to, triaging patients for pharmacist, scheduling, adhering to protocols and communicating with patients and other healthcare providers.

What the Pharmacy Technician will Need:

  • Minimum High school education or equivalent.
  • Preferred Completion of formal pharmacy technician training program.
  • Minimum Fully licensed as a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) in the State of Michigan. Currently employed Pharmacy Technicians at Mercy Health may also satisfy this requirement with a Limited Pharmacy Technician Licensure.
  • Minimum One year of pharmacy work experience.
